Faithful Sir Knights,
I want to focus on 3 of the many things that we have coming up over the next few weeks. A sign of a vibrant assembly is how we can work together to benefit the greater good for our parishes, actually doing God’s work.
1. Polar Plunge
Who wants to run into the Atlantic Ocean in early February? We have many brothers who take part in this event to support Special Olympics Virginia. A special thank you to all who will participate. Please sponsor one of your council’s plungers!
2. Lenten Fish Fry
Every Friday night starting February 20 we will be sponsoring our legendary Fish Fry. This is an all-hands-on deck event. We need your help to make this work. If you can make yourself available, please let me know.
3. Exemplification on February 28
As of this writing we have 22 third degree knights who have filled out a form 4. It’s a big class and might still grow over the next few weeks. If you know of any additional brothers in your councils who wish to join our ranks, please let me know.
I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you for all your efforts to make Fr. Habets an Assembly we can all be proud of. If you want to step up to be part of the Officers of Fr. Habits Assembly, please reach out to one of our Trustees and let them know and we will take it from there.
